I Die

Tonight is a reality TV whore’s dream; premiers of the 3rd season of The Rachel Zoe Project and Bad Girls Club Miami.

The Rachel Zoe Project, is a Bravo reality TV show which basically shows celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe managing her company. She travels, she shops for fabulous clothes, attends fashion shows, manages her employees, styles her celebrity clients and shops some more. This show interests me because frankly I love all Bravo shows; Andy Cohen is a producing genius. But before the show aired I knew of Rachel Zoe and I also like fashion and this show is heavy on fashion. So if you are a fashionista reality TV whore tune into the RZP on Bravo tonight at 10/9 central.

I just started watching the Bad Girls Club last season after being harassed by Mindy and hearing so much about Natalie Nunn. I run LA! And I must admit I was fairly impressed with the show. I don’t know why I like this show, I guess for the same reasons I like Jersey Shore; pure entertainment. The past seasons have been filmed in L.A. but this season is in my Miami so I will definitely be tuning in. I wonder if there is another Natalie or Pop off! on this season. One can only hope. The BGC airs tonight on Oxygen at 9pm et/pt.

I’ll Snatch Ya Wig Off

Apparently the Real Housewives of Atlanta were in my city this weekend (Miami) and I missed them :-(. But conveniently, Thomas Kramer, a real estate investor who is on my facebook , hosted them at his Star Island mansion and he took pics.

Are Kim and Thomas holding hands???
Open your eyes boo

These pictures bring up a few questions: Is Thomas the newest housewife? Is Kim dating Thomas? What happened to Big Poppa (Lee Najjar)?

Well, the original Big Poppa is a real estate developer in Atlanta and Thomas Kramer is a real estate developer in Miami so…

I guess all will be revealed during the 3rd season of RHOA which will air this fall.

Is King James Miami’s Savior?

We all know by now that Lebron James decided to join the Heat and play basketball in South Beach. As someone who is not a sports fan my first thoughts were, “Oh crap, more tourists and traffic!” and ” Oh crap, now airplane ticket prices to Miami are going to increase”.

However, Alfred Spellman, producer of “The-U” and cult-classic “Cocaine Cowboys” , appeared on Bloomberg Television and he had a more positive view. He believes that King James will “unite Miami and lead the city to a Renaissance”.

During his appearance he mentions the economic blows that Miami has faced including the housing market crash, unemployment of 12%, 100,000 foreclosures in 2009 and the oil spill in the Gulf.  Spellman believes that Lebron will bring in tourist dollars and help revitalize Miami’s downtown area.

I loved the fact that Spellman addresses Lebron stating that he is coming to play ball in South Beach which is a misnomer because he will actually be playing at the American Airlines Arena in Downtown Miami. But he said South Beach so we all know what’s really on his mind. Prince side eye.

I really do hope that Lebron revitalizes the Miami economy and that will mean more coins in MY pocket and not just increased prices for products, tickets and houses, while wages remain the same. @KidFury ( a guy I follow on twitter) summed it up best when he twatted, “If Lebron James coming to Miami causes more traffic, higher club covers and cost of hot wings to increase and/or more groupie attacks… I WILL leave. Lebron, you are free to have your fun, but keep that ish cute. I was here first”. chuckles.

Pop Bits

Personal Pop

I’ve been pretty busy this week preparing for my friend’s birthday weekend in the Keys. I have school work to do, business work to do, I have to clean my house, go grocery shopping and pack. I’m excited for the Keys. I’ve never been there before and this will be a much needed vacation.

Media Pop

So Lindsay Lohan was finally sentenced to 90 days in jail yesterday. About time!! This girl is such a has been why do we care about her anyways? Her last hit was “Mean Girls” and that came out like 10 years ago.

Everyone seems to be waiting with bated breath to see which team Lebron James is going to sign with. To increase the anticipation he is holding an hour-long press conference to announce which team he is signing with Thursday at 9 pm. I don’t follow sports so I don’t care at all but everyone seems to be going Lebron crazy, especially here in Miami, so I can’t get away from King James. However, all I can think about are the groupies. If Lebron signs with the Heat I know that a lot of groupies will be extremely happy and regular dudes won’t stand a chance.

Tonight I watched the first 2 episodes of the new season of the Real World: New Orleans. I don’t really watch the Real World anymore but I got sucked into it and it also piqued my interest since I was in New Orleans back in March. I think Eric is the best looking guy on there but… Ryan.. is the piece de resistance for me. I love his hair styling, moody, cuddling with guys, drama queen craziness! And now that he got a crap load of pain killers I know that it’s on and popping and he will bring the dramatics for real.

I have been a fan of Kathy Griffin’s: My Life on the D-List since the first episode. She is one of my favorite comedians but this week’s episode focused on her mom, Maggie, who is such a GILF! I adore Maggie. I just want to put her in my pocket and drink boxed wine with her. Her trademark saying is “Tip it!”, which refers to tipping the box to get more wine out of the box, and she has a book named after her saying. I. Must. Have. It. Maggie is amazing and she is the star in my eyes.

**I want to give a special shout out to Matt. He is the Pop Star of the week and he is the best boyfriend I could have ever asked for :-)**
